Anastasia draws people to her wherever she goes - wearing a different outfit for every occasion from her vast wardrobe. She is dedicated to "bringing smiles to those who need it.”

When Anastasia visits, faces light up and people begin to interact with her by hugging, kissing or just petting her.
She brings excitement to an otherwise mundane day.

About Our Program:

Three Rivers Hospice's Pet Therapy Program is the first of its kind in the area.  Anastasia,  the hospice's pet therapy dog, works solely for Three Rivers Hospice but visits anyone who needs her - without a fee.  Anastasia is paid with smiles, not dollars.

This unique program was created by Anastasia's owner and employee of Three Rivers Hospice, Laura Sokolovic, Director of Public Relations and Pet Therapy.  When asked about the growth of similar pet therapy programs throughout the area Laura replies, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  I am very proud to have been on the ground floor of this exciting field and it compliments me to know that so many people have followed our program. It is truly a blessing."

If you would like Anastasia to visit, you may call 1-800-282-0306 or email Laura at lsokolovic@fhhs.com.
